Primates of the Caribbean Gardens

This island houses two black and white colobus monkeys. They like to be high in the trees and their black and white hair can frequently be seen swaying in the treetops from the mainland. Perched atop one of the electrically heated domes, this colobus is watching the keeper approach via canoe to deliver fresh fruits and vegetables. Colobus monkeys in East Africa are currently threatened by automobiles. Learn more here.
