2019 is a big year for Naples Zoo. We're celebrating 100 years as a botanical garden and 50 years as a Zoo!

Dr. Henry Nehrling, a respected botanist and ornithologist, brought his plants to this Naples site back in 1919.

To celebrate this anniversary, we are having a special 'birthday party' for Nehrling on Saturday, May 11 from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be fun activities for kids, a cookie decorating station, and special anniversary enrichment for the animals.
