Naples Zoo Announces Birth of Critically Endangered Eastern Bongo

Naples Zoo is celebrating the birth of a critically endangered Eastern bongo calf - our first baby of 2021. Five-year-old bongo, Amara, gave birth to a female calf at approximately 6:00 pm Sunday, January 17, 2021. The calf weighs 46 pounds and stands approximately 2 feet tall. Naples Zoo Announces First Birth of 2020: Critically Endangered Slender-Horned Gazelle

Naples Zoo is celebrating the birth of a critically endangered slender- horned gazelle. First time mother, Clover, gave birth to a male calf at approximately 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 22 nd .  The calf weighs approximately 3.5 pounds and stands a little over 1 foot tall. Naples Zoo Announces Final Birth of 2019: The Zoo's Biggest Baby Boom Year Ever

Naples Zoo is celebrating the birth of a critically endangered Eastern bongo calf. Four-year-old bongo, Amara, gave birth to a male calf at 8:25 am Monday, December 30 th .  The calf weighs approximately 48 pounds and stands approximately 2 feet tall.
