Naples Zoo is excited to announce that guests can now meet Jean and Janet, the endangered clouded leopard kittens. The ten-week-old kittens will make their grand debut to the public on Tuesday, May 7th.
The exhibit will open to the public at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 7th.

Naples Zoo is celebrating the birth of two endangered clouded leopard kittens. First time mother, three-year-old clouded leopard, Tika, gave birth to kitten one at 7:49 am Friday, February 22 nd and then kitten two at 8:32 am. The kittens are both female, kitten one weighed 262 grams and kitten two weighed 244 grams.

Naples Zoo is celebrating the birth of a critically endangered Eastern bongo calf. First time mother, three-year-old bongo, Amara, gave birth to a male calf at 2:25 am Wednesday, January 23 rd . The calf weighs approximately 40 pounds and stands approximately 2 feet tall.

On exhibit for the first time in Southwest Florida, Naples Zoo presents “ Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea ” from November 17, 2018 through April 21, 2019. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is thrilled to break ground on the Glass Animal Hospital today (May 11, 2018). At present, Naples Zoo is the only Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited Zoo in Florida that does not have an animal hospital on-site. Naples Zoo is excited to announce that our final exhibit to re-open after damage from Hurricane Irma is now complete. The Oasis exhibit had significant damage from the storm and Zoo staff has been diligently working to get the exhibit re-opened since September. The exhibit has been completely updated with all new fencing, new shade structures and a beautiful array of new plants and trees.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is welcoming three black and white colobus monkeys – a father and his boys! The new Naples Zoo residents hail from Mesker Park Zoo in Evansville, Indiana.
