Friendsgiving
Monday, November 25

In the plant and animal kingdom there are many relationships that form as part of all things living harmoniously.  In a time of thanks, campers will explore symbiotic relationships, long-term interactions between two or more species.  These “friendships” can take look very different amongst different species.  Explore how grateful we are for these advantageous and important relationships to the world in which we live. Science of the Scarecrow
Tuesday, November 26

Scaring is what scarecrows do best!  Campers will use creative thinking and teamwork to build a scarecrow of their own to place in the Zoo.  Through conservation efforts, both local and global, campers will learn about the importance of scarecrows and animals alike that play pivotal roles in the food chain.  There are many things to be thankful for this season; farmers, animals, and sustainable agriculture are just few!
